Hello, I'm Richard Adams

Richard Adams – Photographer, Artist, Explorer
I’m a photographer with a lifelong passion for storytelling through images—whether capturing shifting light across a remote landscape or exploring how time reveals hidden details through motion and change.
Before photography became my full-time focus, I spent 37 years in paramedicine—a demanding, deeply meaningful career that taught me to pay attention, act with purpose, and notice the details others might overlook. I now bring that same dedication and observational clarity to every frame I compose.
I’m particularly drawn to two-point perspective—there’s something deeply satisfying about how it creates depth and balance, offering a sense of harmony and space to breathe. Photography allows me to merge both sides of who I am: the logical thinker who sees systems and structure, and the artist who marvels at how light and line can transform a scene.
My work explores architecture, landscape, and the beauty tucked into often-overlooked places. I travel often with my wife, Christine, seeking out images that evoke delight or quiet reflection. At the heart of it all, my hope is simple: that someone might pause, smile, and think a happy thought.
Thanks for visiting—I hope something here brightens your day.
Thank you! I'll respond as soon as I can, Rick.
